History of this site
	This website first started on 14 October 1994 as hobby by two Turkish-Cypriot friends (Yashar Sentürk & Erhan A. Ince) who at the time were studying at Bradford University, UK.  Since 1996 the site has been managed by Y. Sentürk who acts as the editor and the webmaster. The aim here is to introduce the visitor to the natural and historical beauties, culture and charming Mediterranean character of North Cyprus and its peoples.  Please bear in mind that this is not an official but an independent site about North Cyprus. We are ardent supporters of freedom of information and free speech on the internet and are against any type of discrimination (as well as incrimination) of any individual and/or society. In this respect we welcome constructive criticisms as well as input from visitors to the website (and indeed to North Cyprus). Since our starting days, we have grown enormously to be the premier point of reference on the internet regarding North Cyprus, and as such believe in the need to continuously update and renew ourselves. To do this we need your continual support, advice and recommendations. So, please do not hesitate give us your feedback at any time, and watch us improve and evolve into a ‘site of distinction’ on information about North Cyprus at your fingertips on the net.
